San Galgano Abbey Couple Shooting
Hen and Sharon
Last May I was with an Israelian couple in one of most amazing location: The San Galgano Abbey.
They will get married in August in Israel and came to Italy for a lovely holiday together and they fall in love with Tuscany.
The Abbey of Saint Galgano was a Cistercian Monastery found in the valley of the river Merse between the towns of Chiusdino and Monticiano, in the province of Siena,
This spectacular church was built in 1185 and her main feature is to have lost her roof and when you are inside you can see the sky over you: that is an amazing atmosphere!
Inside the Abbey, during the photoshoot, you can do a shadow play with the arches that change their light each hour: that was funny and stunning.
Hen and Sharon fell in love with this fascinating church right away, so much to choose as a background for their couple’s photographic service.
During all the couple service they were natural and spontaneous forgetting my presence: the sweetest time was when Hen read a letter to Sharon.
When the light began to descend we moved outside the church in the middle of the fields it is surrounded by another series of photographs
In the last part of the service, we returned to San Gimignano for some shots with the sunset in the wonderful and immense vineyard near their b & b.
During car trips, we talked about our work, our tastes, and peculiarities. I find these little moments of intimacy very interesting where I learn to know small fragments of those who photograph and give me elements to talk about them in the photographs of the service.
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
Go to the ends of this Earth for you
To make you feel my love
